Problems getting the kazahm air pass : FFXI General Discussions

Anyone know why the Galkan at kazahm air agency wont give up the kaz pass even though i got all the keys? Is there some fame required? The guy doesnt mention anything about getting one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You shouldent need anyfame, (friend of mine had like 10quests in bastok and non elsewhere), Should be just to trade the 3 keys to to him. Might have to talk to him and say that you want the adventurer solution (get the keys) first then try to trade him, what does he say to you when you talk to him?

Talk to guddal ( I think thats waht his name is). He will give you the quest. Once you have the quest, enter trade mode with him and give him all 3 keys. That's it. No fame required at all.

hmffff...guddal is the guy. Ive talked to many about this. Apparently after he says "this is the window (for something blah blah)" he then asks "how may i help you" and then gives a selection to get an air pass. Well he stops after the this is the window part. Nothing more.
Maybe i will contact a gm...its frustrating to have people wiz by and get their's while i'm sitting there emoting rude things to guddal. I'm not a complete numb skull, so i know i'm initiating trade and talking with him correctly. Im gonna blame it on a glitch :]

sounds to me like someone doesnt have the expansion (rise to zilheart (SP?)) installed and/or registerd with POL

is there a way to buy the airship pass with out doin the quests

Ahhh, Reminds me when i was getting Killed by the bats in valkrum dunes, as i was running to Zone (Gustav's Tunnel) and i didnt have it registered so i couldnt Zone. Damn Bats Killed me.

the pass is only 148k if you dont feel like searching for the keys, hardly a kazillion

heh... and if ye wanna buy the REAL airship pass (the one to ride to the 3 major cities), it'll only set you back 500K before you get it for free on the mission that gets you Rank 5....

The pas is 148k but the quest is eaisier seeing as I only have 100 gil to my name. If your rich and don't have time buy it. But if you can't complete the quest I wouldn't go leveling in Kahzham .
