Q: I start my scripts, and then i get an "All scripts stopped" error.
A:
1. install XU and your game servicer + w/e scripts you want to use.
2. Go to the Plugins tab and make sure the following are checked:
Standard Plugins
-XUnleashed V4 EXhume Scripts
-XUnleashed V2 Triggers
-XUnleashed V2 Macros
-XUnleashed V2 Scripts
3rd Party Services
-Wyvern's FFXi Servicer
Standard Services
-XUnleashed Windows Input Service
3. Go to the Options tab and Select Your Game, then make sure the following are changed:
-Launch Path: xxx\PlayOnline\FFXI\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\polboot.exe (Example for FFXI)
-DXFile (HOOK1): pol.exe
-DXFile (HOOK2): FFXiMain.dll (Example for FFXI)
-Alternate Hooking (checked)
-Auto Update Plugins (checked)
-Use Random File Names (checked)
-Hook DX 8 (checked)
-Force Redraw (checked)
-Ignore DirectInput (checked)
-Hook DX 9 (checked)
4. go to the XUnleashed tab and click 'Play' then log into ffxi normally. Once in the game make sure you can see the xunleashed task bar at the bottom of the screen. Open the V2 script tab and pick the script you want to use. Try to run it and you will get the same problem as before most likely. Exit FFXI.
5. Close and reopen XUnleshed. Then go to the option tab and scroll all the way up. You should see 'XUnleashed V3: DirectX 8 Test'. Select that and go to the XUnleashed tab. Then click play. When this test window shows up, take your cursor to the bottom of the window and get the xunleashed taskbar to appear. Get the V2 script tab open again and run all the scripts you wish to use. Then close this test. Then go back to Xunleshed and close and reopen the program. Go back to the Options tab and scroll back down to FFXI and make sure all your settings are still the way mentioned above. Then run FFXI and bam. The scripts should work now.
:)

I have tryed all the above info to fix my same problem as well and no go. I do believe I am using an older version of the fisher bot, worked fine up until when i recently tryed a week ago.
I found the following text but dont quite understand it.....

Q: I get an exhume popup box saying Failed to LoadScript for each vbs loading
A: Exhume will only run 4.x scripts. If you are running the 4.x client, you have to run the Script Host plugin that allows the 4.x client to run 3.x scripts.

I tryed the stand alone fisher as well with windower and it keeps getting some type of CMD error ????

I would like to get this fix so I may renew it in Nov, but for now having no luck..... thanks

You dont run the script with the exhume plugin, you use the script host plugin.

There are 2 ways to run scripts.. there is a exhume window that comes up in XU, there is also a ScriptHost window. You need to use the latter.
