Sorting mages spell list : FFXI General Discussions

Hello all^^

I noticed that all the spell of a mage are sorted in the order you learn them. After an updated that gave me some problems beside from having my macros cancelled i found that all my spells were sorted in alphabetic order!!
No idea how it happened, but i would like to know if there is a way to do it, so that everytime i learn a new spell i can sort it and have all of them in a very practical order to use them.

Btw, i saw in some rdm vs maat videos that the players had all the spells sorted too...so i suppose there is a way to do it. Maybe is there a file in our HD that points at the order in which the spell are shown?

Thanks a lot in advance

Open the main menu (via numpad -).
Go to "Magic".
Select the correct school of magic.
If you press numpad + here you can auto sort.

I'm not tring to be a jerk but I've asked for very little from this site. I really dont know much about vbs. I do know a little about perl and a bit of c. I just bought a book on vbs and tring to get going with it. So I am tring myself if i didnt i wouldnt ask. I'm not lazy. As for the spam I was doing as a joke, but i am tired of ppl asking dumb questions and getting responses but when i ask a real one i get none. Im not flameing anyone but alot of these threads are about common things learned in the ffxi book. i was under the impression that this is more designed towards scripting and bots. i do like the site don't get me wrong but after searching for info with search funtion and by reading manually through threads that may answer questions i didnt find what i was looking for. I appologise for the spam it was just to bust balls a little.
p.s i was going to make this all a link to the thread as a joke but idk ppls sense of humors yet.

My sense of humor doesn't stretch to 4 spam posts.
Anyway, there are quite a lot of samples in the download section.

If you want a VBScript sample look through for example XUFish.
If you want a JScript sample look through for example CTS or the JScript posts in the dev forum.
If you want sample for perl like I think your other post was about then you're pretty much !@#$%^&*. ><
