wierd problems... : FFXI General Discussions

Hey, my first post here, so call me stupid if it's a stupid question. anyways, i've been having a couple problems from day 1 of my use. first problem is at the very beginning when i start fishing, the first thing the bot tries to do, of course, is type /cm p but sometimes it doesnt finish all of the letters, so sometimes i would get like / p or c p or whatever. anyways, thats not a big deal. i just set it manually to party chat.

my next problem has just recently popped up. It doesn't want to even start fishing. like it will try to do a macro, beep, then sort my inventory. then try a new macro. then fish, but the bot won't take control, and the statistics window will come up. but none of the statistics will show. and i notice that the script was paused. so just wondering what's going on. oh, and also after i terminate the script. and i want to type something like send the fish to my main for the lu shang quest. it's as if my key board is all lagged up, and i have to hold the key down for it to type. anyways, i hope my description of my problem was thorough(sp?) enough for you to try and come up with some kind of answer. any response to this is greatly appreciated

Hmm, lower your graphics settings to fix the first problem. Also don't forget to set cpu affinity if you have a P4.

Second problem no idea, did you try restarting your computer? If yes then create a post with your xufish and xunleashed log files. (As attachments please.)

Third problem, did you close the script with the F11 button? If yes then go complain at admin to fix xunleashed.

I just looked at my xufish_logfile, and WHOA, thats a lot of zone detected stuff..... it's only 12394832749018723 lines long. anyways, quick question, would i have to change my fishing spot, or what kind of setting would i have to change?

Where you're fishing shouldn't matter. Unless you're fishing in like zeruhn mines with WAY low gamma.

You have to lower you graphic settings, your computer is having too much to do. Lower game resolution and lower graphics settings under config etc.
