Ok I have had this question for a while, and I'm not one to know how to answer it myself. I play in a Japanese linkshell and it can be difficult to understand many things. I know in certain parsers they take chat logs and dump them into a txt file or what not or records it someway. My question is its hard being NA to digestion the JP characters, there are some thing I would like to run through a translator of my own so it makes my life alot easier.

So is there a way to dump the JP characters from the chat logs to a txt file or something or how do I do that. I mean I cant go programming anything since I know very little but I mean even if I can do it with a parser or something that is fine but how do I get it in JP format..

Edit: And jsut to be more clear, if it was possible to run the JP or my chat log for instances through a translator that would be awesome. But for now I'm ok with just copying text out of a text file into a translato

Thanks in advance

Very possible, but I don't know of any program that does this, or could be manipulated to do this. I think there are parsers that you could use to just dump the whole chat log into a file, but your going to probably have to do the rest yourself. Basically, your going to have to have some skill in scripting if you want to tweak it to your liking.

I know of one that is in the works atm that can do this. I am not sure if it is released yet, but I know of one under development.
