I have recently been pondering paying the 20 bucks, and getting premium so I can get the fishing bots from xunleashed...

can you guys giive me some feedback as to if they update the bots after every patch...if the bots are effective etc...

I used to ue aeries fisher, but now hes quit, so im trying to find a new good one, stumbled onto these forums\

I mean the money isnt the problem really, but it just seems like a waste if the bot isuseless.

with aeries I was able to fish afk overnight, and during school, it sorted inv, would throw away what I told it to, etc etc... you guys prob already know,,

just wondering if Xunleashed does all this too, and if its updated after the patches ^^

thanks a bunch!

does it zone for you? or is that not even a problem in the new patches of fishing?

I just started FFXI again, so not sure what theyve done with fishing, used to be you needed to zone every 1-2 hr in order to maximize the amount of fish youd catch, but now I dont know...

if you still need to zone, does XUfisher zone for you like other older bots that no longer work and arent being updated...hehe??

No, with uxfish you are provided with a simple getlocation.vbs script that displays the location of where you are standing. You write down the location of every spot you want to be a checkpoint for the bot to run to. These are placed in an array and another script runs the specified route. It's really easy IMO.

I've provided a route tester in the downloads forum, it includes explanations on how to make routes, and place them in the script. All you need to do to test them is stand at the point you want to start the route and start the script then if they are correctly running the route, you simply cut and paste the array into the script you want.

I've also posted an example of an editor fisher from uxfishes base design, it shows how routes work, you just need to place your routes in and edit the function to detect gms. I'm not doing the gm detect for anyone that's up to the player to figure out. Oh and the script I wrote is for 4 characters. You'll have to figure out how to edit it for more or less.

There's extensive documentation and previous code available so you should have a lot of resources to go through before needing to post.

Most questions posted are so trivial it's ridiculous, basically it's either:
a) User didn't read documentation at all.
b) User skimmed the documentation.
c) User copy/pasted something and it didn't work, post with no error information or information what's been changed.

I think I can count the number of good problem reports on my two hands in over one year of XUFish.

Anyway, if you do your homework, show in your post your tried and provide info on what's not working I'm certain several are willing to help.

I just want to get an opinion, Ive looked around for a bot for fishing also and I found Xunleashed and the FFXI secrets site. Is anyone subscribed to FFXI secrets ($24.95) and can tell me if its worth the information or if its just a joke.

The XUnleashed forums don't allow discussion about competing tools due to previous abuse.

Ask about XUnleashed here. Ask about FFXI secrets there.

XUnleashed has a 2 week money back guarantee, thus it's 100% safe to buy, try and if you don't like it get your money back.
