Hi I just wanted to share how to get dream robe and dream robe +1

First there are 7? different cards out there.

Okay before I start I'm not 100% sure about this entire event I'm just sharing how I got about it.

Okay first get the card then get someone who fits the requirements to trade the card then ASK FOR IT BACK the new one.

Then find the 2nd person who fits the requirments to trade the card then ASK FOR IT BACK, the new one.

Repeat

4th time it'll ask you to give it to someone who a job requirment that YOU have.

Thats how you get NQ if you started from scratch. If you get lucky and your the 4th to trade in someone eles's card then you get NQ robe.

For HQ Dream Robe +1 do the same with people wearing Robes only.

Now what happens if you keep doing it?

I'm testing that right now. I got 3 chocobo tickets.

Seeing what happens if you trade every single card type. Also got bored of it so I took a break to do smilebringer quests*

Also i have a hypothesis that if you do this with Dream Robe +1 only you can Charm Wand

Err... i don't know whether this is true or not, because i got my NQ robe by:

1. Trading my card to someone else with the requirement.
2. Get the right card from someone and trade to moggle.
3. And i got it.

That is because the card you traded to moogle that you got was the 4th one. Of coruse this is luck and you can't keep track of it.

NQ Robe
Card Moogle Locations
South San'Doria: (J-9)/(K-9) line
Northern San'Doria: (D-8)
Windurst Woods: (K-10)
Windurst Waters: (F-5)
Bastok Markets: (G-8)
Bastok Mines: (I-9)

Moogle in the starting nations will give you a card, and tell you to find someone with a "[Job] in the [X]'s". For example "Find a warrior in the 50s and hand the card over kupo!"
It is easiest to find the people via shout, or /sea region job lvl-lvl

Once you find the person, ask them to trade the card to the moogle. They will most likely recieve Sparkling Hands. If not, they will receive "Dream Robe." I got my Robe when trading my fourth card to the moogle- I have read someone got their robe on their first turn in, though. **You get your robe by being the FOURTH person to trade an individual card in, it doesnt matter if it is your first trade, as long as it is the cards fourth***
Robe on Taru, Elvaan, Mithra, Hume

You will get four cards from the moogle, before you start over. Like the summer event, there are no penalties for having to start over.

Notes:
-Save the fireworks!! You can use these for Smilebringer quests!
-You can only get one card per VD day.
-If you are having problems trading, it is because the person already has the card (remember, they are Rare)
-Other confirmed gifts from moogle are chocobo tickets! (Save them for mea >_<!)

The different kinds of cards are:
Pleiades
Capella
Sirius
Rigel
Betelgeuse
Canopus
Aldebaran

Suit Theorys:
First theory from Totz from Bahamut >> Almost 100% proven!
(1)Talk to the moogle get a card.
(2)Trade the card to the job and lvl it ask's for, have that person trade it to the moogle, then have them trade it back to you.(1st trade)
(3)Talk to the moogle to see what next job is.
(4)Trade it to a person with then next job, have them trade to moogle, then trade it back to you.(2nd trade)
(5)Talk to moogle again for next job requirment.
(6)Trade it to person with that job, have them trade to moogle, and then trade it back to you.(3rd trade)
(7)Now when you talk to the moogle for the last time he will tell you that you need to give the card to someone that has a job in a level range that is equal to one of the job's that you have.
(8)Swich to that job, trade the card to the moogle.(4th trade)

Robe +1
Not much is known for sure about this - but after you receieve your first robe, the moogle then tells you the card is for the [insert job] at [level range] who is wearing red.

I have spoken to a few people with the +1 robes, and they said that it is exactly like the first part (For NQ) except you just need to receive it from someone wearing a robe, who has a "red" card.

*** One person with HQ said it would be worthwhile to note they had been in two cities ***

Smilebringer Locations:
Northern San'Doria: (D-8)
Windurst Waters: (F-5)
Bastok Mines: (I-9)

You must wear your hat to give presents, if you do not have one from last year, buy one from a Moogle vendor for 10k.

The Smilebringer will warp you to another area after you distribute presents if you have enough joy. Collect joy by trading fireworks to children. (Fireworks can be obtained from NPC moogles or from the card event)
Joy message.

After trading approximately 18 fireworks, I talked to the Smilebringer again, and the NPC turned into a pirate, and gave me a present to give to a kid. The present gives you "barrelfuls of joy to the children of Vana'diel!"

Smilebringer theory:
Kittyn pointed out you can outpost warp anywhere for only 10 Popstars from your local NPC teleporter.
Ok walkthru to get Dream Suit.

You need to keep track of the original card of that you recieve from the moogle.

Congratz you now are the proud owner of a Dream Suit.

This was discovered by Rubicant(Bahamut), verified by Totz, Tearshang, and Shiznicle.

Happy Holliday's and good luck to all.

Also for the HQ hat,

You must do the smilebringer event
Smilebringer:
Smilebringer Locations
Northern San'Doria: (D-8)
Windurst Waters: (F-5)
Bastok Mines: (I-9)

You must wear your hat to give presents, if you do not have one from last year, buy one from a Moogle vendor for 10k.

The Smilebringer will warp you to another area after you distribute presents if you have enough joy. Collect joy in one of two ways; first, by trading the present the Smilebringer gives you to child, and second, by trading fireworks to a child.

Kittyn pointed out you can outpost warp anywhere for only 10 fireworks from your local NPC teleporter. Fireworks seem to be different for each nation.
San D'Oria Fireworks = Sparkling Hands
Windurst = (Need information)
Bastok = 10 Brilliant Snows

Dream Hat +1:
Once you have a regular Dream Hat (from last year or from moogle) and you place a tree in your layout, the next clock reset (next day Japan time) you will get this message.

When you check your invetory, you will have a Special Present. You cannot open your present in your mog house.

Once outside, open your box. A firework show will commence, when its over check your invetory, and ta-da! You have your very own Dream Hat +1

Notes:
-Your tree and nation do not need to match: (You can be from Bastok, have a Windurstian Tree, and still get a present.)
-You only need to have one tree in your layout
-You *MUST* be in your regular moghouse, not a rent-a-room!
posed after in same topic
I have 3 char doing this,
First one I traded a stack of the hands to the flower girl in northern sandy and I was done...
second 2 have had the tree's in the layout for a week now and still have nothing...
there is no wait on when you can grab your hat, once you trade enough it is in your mog and moogle will give it to you

OMG Thank you. I had maxed out my "joy" on the presents, and didn't know I could trade fireworks. I traded 3 individual sparkling hands in sandy, 1 to 3 different kids, and the smilebringer finnaly changed the joy fame thing to "The children love you! Even I think you're great!", went back to MH, and got my special present. Thanks again!
