Nashamu Fishing : FFXI Submissions

Fishing has become non-profitable since fishbots have taken over many of the popular spots. However there is a spot that is rarely ever used and is very profitable and safe. Grab a Lu Shang and a Shrimp Lure and head over to Nashmau.

Mercanbaligi cap at 86
Ahtapot cap at 90

Mercanbaligi stack and sell to the fishing guild in Al Zahbi for 700 each whilte Ahtapot do not stack sell for around 800 each. Since Nashmau is a city no mobs can be fished up. Mercanbaligi is also the ToAU version of Bream, so it can be made into sushi. Once you hit 90, you can use a sinking minnow to fish up Mercanbaligi, Istakoz & Pterygotus. Pterygotus is a level 99 fish and sell to fishing guild npc for 1.1K. A very safe spot with no agro and very quiet.
