Possible item dupe : FFXI Submissions

1 person needs to have the smn quest complete (able to choose smn as
job). They do NOT need to BE a summoner during the cheat, main or sub.

You need at least 2 other people in the pt who need the ruby (up to 18
in alliance will work I think).

Kill acrophies or poison leeches or whatever (qufim, sea serpent
grotto, buburimu peninsula, etc) until a ruby drops. Then everyone passes
except the person who has smn completed, who lots. The ruby will say it
was lost, but it will still be in the treasure pool, and will stay there
forever. Now you can all lot on it over and over and it will never
leave the pool until everyone leaves the zone (or maybe just the smn leaves
the zone, im not sure).

I've been told that this works with all EX and Rare items, but I will
not call it an item dupe until this has been confirmed

Nay, this is REALLY REALLY old and doesn't work at all.
