PS2 & PC tricks : FFXI Submissions

Near the cooking guild, where I marked on my map, there's a little stool, next to a cart thing with pots on it, if you stand on the stool and gently tap the analog stick towards the water, eventually you will go in. If you go near the MH, you can fall down and be behind the MH zone, or you can fall off the cliff and get stuck between the cliff and the edge of the map. You can also go behind either of the other 2 windy zones (not the sarutabaruta zone). I know you can do this on PC with hacks but this is nice for PS2 users. ^^ (PS2 only)




Here, if you maneuver slow, you can get on the little ledges surrounding the buildings. On the left one, you get stuck behind a cart and some pots. On the right one, you get stuck behind some grass. A little interesting, nothing too special, but I don't think many people know about it. (Haven't tried these ones on PC, may work)



In this one, you gotta go near the steps. If you carefully follow the ledge, eventually you'll be near the water. It involves luck to fall in, because there's a little wall there, but it's not too tough. Unfortunately this is as far as this glitch goes, because once you go in it warps you a little bit away. Probably does this like when you try and warp out onto the water when the ship isn't there. Not too exciting, but fun nonetheless. (PS2 only)

If you go to any beach in buburimu, or the one in bibiki bay, you can stand on the ledge on the ramps. If you're careful, you can get to the little ledge past the turn. If you pull mobs from here, their pathing gets really messed up, and it's really fun to mess with them. XD Works on PS2, don't think it works on PC.

If you begin a cast, you can move as much as you want, but as long as you get back to the same spot before you finish, you'll still cast (useful for when you accidently move while casting a tele or something, and for showing off). Works on PC and PS2.

This one is a bit funny (but not practical), in Pso'Xja, on any elevator, if you stand right on the edge when the elevator is up, and then wait for it to go down, you can jump off and land at the bottom. It works the same for going up. Again, not practical, but pretty cool. Works on PS2 and PC.

Little easter eggs and such:

In valkurm dunes, if you go into the water, and go as close to the secret beach as you can, and look at the tunnel, it looks like a penis. lol

Hecatomb body has a bunny on the chest.
Dragoon AF body has a heart on the chest.
There's porn in the building when you exit sandy airship docks.
Pictures of mithra and stuff in Norg in the pirate chambers.

Well that's all I can think of at the moment, I guess this is a hacking site so probably not a lot of PS2 users but meh. Premium would be nice but you guys can do whatever.
