Wierd find while fishing : FFXI Submissions

I dunno if this is common knowledge, but after a brief skim thorugh the forums i havent seen it mentioned

i dunno if this is true for all ToAU zones, but fishing in the little thing of water at the AH in Al Zahbi, there is 0 chance of not hooking a fish. i fished for 3 days in Zahbi and there was not 1 time the line didnt hook a fish.

i have been away from ffxi for a while and i figured this was something SE made the fishing norm, so i went to windy, and i would sometimes not hook anything 3-4 times in a row.


Edit: tried this with rogue rig and it does sometimes not snag anything, but it does work with insect paste and worms, im assuming it only works with bait. if i can stay awake long enough i will see if fatique takes effect here. possible we can get the lushang's in a fraction of the time. keep in mind this is right next to a AH so dont stray too far from the monitor

darn, fatiqued at 200, at least it dosent take as long to reach it though

I didn't know about this.. the only thing that could mess up a bot there would be Besieged :3 wonder if you can fish during that haha.

Well you shouldnt stray too far from your computer because you are 2 feet away from an AH. it gives you messages when besieged is starting, the only problem is logging there, i once logged in, in the lst 3 minutes of besieged, lucky me

since im forced to use XIfiish until i upgrade my vidcard,so i have to change my bait every 12 casts. thats probably every 7 or 8 minutes

well i moved to bastok and the same thing is happning where i have 100% bites, so im assuming windy just sucks for bites

I noticed while fightin in Al zah that while you might not catch rusty's you start catchin a lot more gold fish then usely. not that I really catch them since I have relase on them, but once it hits the 80 catch I see the relase and shows 20-30 which Iam guessin is gold fish since I put relase on them. Then in the 80 catch rate I begain to catch a lot of gold fish so I have to zone to catch a lot of moats I was catchin before. and since gold fish sell for a sucky price, I dont bother catchin them.
