Weekend Wrapup 01/26/2009 : Legacy FPS / MMORPG / RTS Discussion

This week, FNF landed on the Pegasus server and rocked the CELLAR Arena. As the count down to Night of Champions continues we've seen a number of former FNF Champions honing their skills for the upcoming tournament while newcomers have starting coming around in hopes of gaining entry into our illustrious final bracket.

• -Preliminary Round: Chandler defeated Pegasus & Degon beat Mcloskey.
  
  -Round One: Vaeyn defeated Chandler, Machka took out Fuzzball, Valashar overcame Greenbeans & Dailrissien beat Degon.
  
  -Semi-Finals: Machka defeated Vaeyn & Valashar beat Dailrissien.
  
  -Finals: Valashar took out Machka.
  
  -Final Challenge: This weeks Champion took little time to decide his fate as he took on the dreaded Gut Check Challenge. For this weeks challenge, the Champion faced off against a team comprised of two newcomers to FNF, a crafty FNF Veteran and three former FNF Champions. Despite a valiant effort though, Champion Valashar was no match for the team of Chandler, Dailrissien, Fuzzball, Greenbeans, Machka & Pegasus and he fell while facing off against the second of six opponents.
