I play thos well known games like WoW and guild wars, but whats with the others? @.@ there are soooo many, are most of them free? or not... i've heard of FFXI but i head it was really slow paced form everyone i know..

I liked WoW because it requires you to be on your feet on a pvp server or you'll get ganked thats the fun thing is that it trains you. Guild was is more strategic though, because you can only have 8 skills at a time so you have to plan carefully for the trip. But can you give me some insights on what you think about the other games? Thanks

PS I really wanna know if they are playable on a mac, cuz not only am i a laptop gamer, but my laptop is a mac...

ffxi is sort of slow because its made to be a party game so you cant solo very much until you are basicly forced to join a party to do stuff. a free cutesy mmo is maple story. RO still has a nice following in private servers so its free. there is RFO which is pay i believe. SRO wichi is also free, SWG, well many games just look on the list we have forums for

knight online is a largely party based mmorpg game thats free. fun but lvling can get really slow. maplestory has amost no party content but is a fun solo game

Hero Online is another free game that just entered beta recently. I like it for the martial arts.

the thing with FFXI is that you cant really do anything on your own until ur lvl 75 which is max lvl. To get to lvl 75 you need to do quests to increase ur lvl cap, and the items for that you cannot get on ur own unless you buy them from an economy that gets more inflated every week. That is why i quit FFXI, mostly because the economy on my server was a complete piece of sh*t.

Heres another example of why I quit: There was a holiday called summerfest, and in order to get the prize you needed to turn in goldfish that you caught for points. The points get you the prize which is a bowl of fish. the bowl of fish could be crafted into a fish tank which you could put in ur house, howevewr you needed to have a really high a$$ skills in like metal working or something like that, so pretty much if you werent a metal worker youd have to get someone else to do it for you.

And you couldnt just have all the skills cuz there was a limit on how many you could have and you couldnt just have a seperate charcter to do other skills cuz each new character costs another f***ing $1 a month! And while im on the topic of professions: it was so f***ing hard to level them up!!!

anyway im rambling on but as you could see FFXI is WAY too slow for me and was a pretty crappy experience for me.
