Limewire is probably the best thing you can get for music. You can get almost anything off of it (at least in my experience)

Yeah but that doesn't mean it doesn't screw over your computer.

its not illegal to import songs and you buying songs from there for a dirt cheap price is still importing

beware of limewire one of my friends used it and his computer didnt crash but it wiped both his hard drives. i use bearshare for small files- im not saying bearshares any different as for viruses. FOR ANYTHING BIG use bittorent or bitlord something like that. On bearshare theres a command that lets you look at something bitzi ticket which will allow you to see if anyone has posted problems with that particular file. With bearshare it ranks the files by how many times it has been downloaded sucessfully. so if one of the 200 people decides to post a problem(if there was any youll know) ALSO i advise getting antivirus programs so that you can scan every file before you run it.

I do use limewire still for the music gathering but azures (AKA) bittirrent works great for apps and mods and the like.
