Hey All : Legacy General Discussion

Just joined the forums, and thought I'd pop in a newcomer thread for starters. First off, I love the forums, I've been lurking about for a week or so now, and decided to sign up, and can't wait to become a frequent poster. I've played quite a few MMOs, starting with Planetside, and just recently got bored of WoW, no real challenge there. So, this friday I'm picking up FFXI (a little late, I know) since it's more in line with what I'm looking for. Anyways, I think that's enough rambling for my first post.

P.S. How in the name of all that is holy do I add tabs infront of my paragraphs? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

How far did you get in wow? And hello. To add a tab you press the tab button =)

I got to 54 with my main; an undead rogue that was sword specced (can't remember the exact point distribution). I also had some alts with a few in the 40s. I probably would've gone on to 60, but I had been talking to my friend about end-game content, and he seemed to dread everything from ZG to PVP. Some of the raids seemed nifty, but in the end WoW was just too simple and I didn't like the fluff.

That's a shame, 60 is where the game begins =P. End-game is what it's all about.

Yeah I know, but the game pretty much just died for me. One of the last IRL friends that still played WoW was talking like he wanted to leave, some of my favorite in game friends hadn't signed on in months, a great casual guild I was with disbanded, and just without those people it just wasn't the same. I'm sure I could've found another great guild and such, but whatever, I just finished out my subsciption and didn't renew.

I don't think i would ever be able to dread WoW it is so entertaining to me æççç

wow is sort of entertaining but it seems a tad too simple for me personally. i play it when im in the states and trying to get my LONG time friend to join and play some mmo´s so i think ill get her started on wow (she is now my gf after this trip ^^v im so happy)
