Guild Wars Expansions -Will You Pay? : GW Discussion

A while/age ago, Arena.net announced they would be producing feature size ( ie Half- Full guild wars size) expansions for the game which would be optional, month/yearly. Would you pay an extra £30/$50(?) for the expansion?

Was talking price in a normal shop not online, but everyone check out bams links, i mean, at 18 quid its a bargin ( great, now i feel like a gypsy door to door flogger)

I would certainly buy it... the expansions make it more custom. When you finish the game now everyone has about the same armor + Weapons thats best for that profession.

Having the expansions will get you open alot more of the new weapons/armor in that section. And make you look more unique.

And a true fan will buy anything from GW even if its they worse expension ever released

Why would you not buy the expansion?

Because of the current grind needed to get ready for PvP. I don't like PvE anymore, I'm sick of it. I Played through the game 3 times and it is really annoying (understatement) for me right now. If an expansion doesn't make the grind any less (not just a tiny wee little baby step) then I won't buy it.

Well... they new update will double/triple they content of they orginal game (i readed somewehre didnt know where anymore.)

So it will make PvE more interest... Also they new weapons/armor and profession... Make things very interesting to buy

I seriously doubt they will make an expansion (updates are free) with double/tripple content for expansion price. However if I'm wrong and the double/tripple content is also for PvP I may reconsider that I'm not buying any expansions. Hopefully this doesn't mean double/tripple amounts of grind...

They also released info of a new Pvp type game

I would pay. For something new, hell yes.
