Guild Wars Worth playing? : GW Discussion

The game itself is free to play once you but the CD, the updates or expansions are completely different, you can get the 2nd chapter having never played the first one, and its a completely new game, if you had the first one you will have the skills from it,

Chatper 2 is massive im sure by now most if not all got the 440mb download from them as part of Chapter 2, then we have a CD on top to install, could be interesting, providing Anet doesnt release it on April 28th and on April 29th Nerf have the skills in the game.

Factions is not an expansion. Factions can be a stand-alone game. You buy one or the other and you get the stuff for that game, or get both and merge them together.
