Whats wrong with item drops? : GW Discussion

i farm solo with my trapper ranger and the drops seem to suck badly, has guildwars made a recent patch that reduces drops?

They did nerf some of the farming spots. It all depends on where you farm at.

augry rock seems to drop ok, but its really tough farming there, anyone know of some really good farming spots let me know, also is there a better place to get superior runes besides outside of beetletun, you know the prize winning pig quest where ettins run out and you kill em all (8) and usually they drop a superior rune, but i was wondering if there was any other place besides that that is rune plenty?

that run was never good for me, I ettin farm completely differently

farm the minotaurs at the start of elona reach, its a great place to farm.

I find that ettins are the best for farming...minotaurs didn't drop as much for me!

another thing to farm is the rarer collectors items in the desert. Bleached shells drops off of wurms, and topaz crests off of the sand drakes. Most builds dont farm either of these because of the jade scarabs that pop up.

Can get 1k for bleached shells, as much as 300-500 for topaz crests.

i farm either outside of droknars, killing the mountain trolls.. orrr ouside of augory of the dragons.. altho.. drops are pretty poor. but i make about 1.5k every 15mins so it aint that bad. and when i get a good drop the price changes...

actually what i do is farm mountain trolls outside of droks forge this takes 10 mins to kill them all and i get 1k per run

the best place to farm is deldramore warcamp it take a few time to get good drops but if you kill bosses enough they drop green items and they sell any where from 1-95k

Grenths greens are cheap, except for certain objects like The Yakslapper that goes for 15k-20k.

Inside sorrows is where the better greens are.


But if you continually farm one place over and over the drops will get worse, do a couple of times then move to a new area to farm for a while so the drop rate where you farmed last will rise again.

i solo farm the hydra outside of augury rock and they seem to alwys spit out around 4 gold and 8-10 purples

or i do the devourers in thirsty river and that are pretty cool

need to be w/mo though. or at least my way you do
