Where do Crystaline sowrds drop? : GW Discussion

I have been all over GW but have never ever seen one drop for anyone, they must be the rarest item in the game.

lol it might seem rarest because of loot nerf's, but use to get them all the time in the maguuma jungle areas..(I.E. post lions arch - pre crystal desert areas)

They must have really nerfed them because I have been all over that area doing all misions and bonuses and never ever seen a crystaline sword drop.

what is so good about crystaline sword anyway, ok it's rare but that's not a reason to pay good money for it

does it have armor penetration or something?

or do people like it just because it looks cool?

They drop in the UW from Bladed Ataxes and Grasping darknesses, if you want to find weapons that cost a lot of money, don't look around in the mission,s it's all in the Uw.

Head to Toys R Us and pick up one of those bow and arrows that shoots foam darts. Shoot your friend in the face and yell, "NERFED!"

its done by game admins

for example....there is a really big exploit out to get lots of money off a single are in game....to nerf it would be to replace those monsters with other stuff or reduce the amount of money
hence making the exploit worthless

They drop in the UW not sure what from but i'm sure of that. I have also heard you can get them from the chest when you win Hall of Heroes along with other rare items.

If you just want a crystalline swords for its looks you can get a sword with the same skin in presearing from the missing moa bird quest ( i think definetly a quest in pre)

Long Sword
Slashing Damage 6-9
Armour +5 (While Casting)
Improves Casting Speed (Chance: 5%)

It isn't very good but it sure as hell looks cool.

Anyways Comeasyouare, i would very much like to see this crystaline farming technique because personally i do not belive you. I also suspect you of pointlessly resurrecting this topic as you have with others.
