A quick guide to Wintersday Farming : GW Submissions

This is a very easy way to make money. People tend to pay alot of money for holiday items (such as wintersday, or halloween), that is why it is so easy.Candy Cane shards, for example cost between 500-1000 gold, and can be used to craft Candy Cane weapons which run from 3k-5k. I have made around 7K in about 45 minutes farming the Regent Valley area in two runs. This is how I did it. I started out in Sardelac Sanitarium (farming route picture below), and basically made a circle around the whole regent valley area up to Fort Ranik. I killed every grawl, or other monster I could find. I have experimented with many monsters extensively, and I tended to get more Candy Cane drops from the Grawl, and other monsters in Regent Valley (about 4 per run). I also chose this location because the grawl and most monsters in the area die quite easily, and the grawl drop ornate necklaces which can be traded in for Wintersday collectors items which you can sell for a good sum of money. Once you have collected the Candy Cane shards, and Ornate Grawl Necklaces go to Ascalon and trade in the necklaces for Wintersday Items.

NOTE: This is just a basic outline of My Route, be sure to get all the nookes and cranies.

Tips On Selling these Items:
1. Sell In Drok's Or Lions Arch, Ascalon is a bad place to sell because theres too many noobs with little money.
2. Sell all items together ( I sold eggnog,cane,present,snowman summoner, for 1k.
3. Either sell the shards, or make a weapon and sell it for 3-5k.
4. Keep some of the items around for a while, then sell them later on when they become very rare.
5. Start in Sardelac Sanitarium instead of Fort Ranik, you get more Ornate Grawl Necklaces. More necklaces=more items=more money.

HAPPY WINTERSDAY

if u go outside of nolani, there are plenty of gargoyles that like to drop singed gargoyle skulls. U can trade in one for a wintersday item. They also drop CC shards well. Big Nay-common knowledge and there are far better routes

i average 20 skulls a run which turn into 20 candy canes. before the weekend is out i will have over 1500 candy canes. they will come in handy for quick money later on.
