farming dyes : GW Submissions

Dyes are very rare drops in Guildwars and depending color very expensive, but there is one monster that drops them about 1/30th times. Renegades, South of Fort Ranrik. There only lvl 3 and are found right outside town so its easy to reset and just keep farming those puppies for cash

i killed close to 100 of them and only got one dye... which happened to come from a devourer. so maybe its bad luck, but i think its just his GOOD luck...

I seem to recall an ungodly drop rate for dyes in pre-searing Ascalon. It may have just been MY good luck, though.

Yea, in pre-searing, but then they nerfed it. On my first day playing I got like 20 and I had no clue what to do with them :p

He IS right, in some sense, Dye Drops in Old Ascalon are very high. I've actually cleared out Regent Valley and done The First mission a few times and gotten a Black dye(lol!) a lot of purples, 2 reds, and a shitload of oranges

Pretty goos stuff if you looking for Dye, and its in ascalon so its easy as hell

i got 4 black dyes with with my ele in old ascalon, i thought i was glitched lol

Basically, if you want dyes, go to ascalon...
