Guide to Farming The "Great" Destroyer (Mo/Me) : GW Submissions

Intro

Register to unlock hidden link is the boss on the last dungeon / quest of EoTN called Register to unlock hidden link. To complete this quest you must kill The Great Destroyer, none of it's minions must be killed - this therefore allows a 55 monk to kill this boss while surviving from the energy generated by attacks from Register to unlock hidden link which are located near to the boss.

Other players will pay for you to "run" them through this quest (around 1k for Normal Mode and 2k for Hard Mode).

The Build

NB: This build IS NOT MINE and was NOT CREATED BY ME, it was found on Register to unlock hidden link (a build library).

Basic 55: 5 Superior Runes lower your health to 105, a Register to unlock hidden link will lower your health to 55. When combined with Register to unlock hidden link you can only take 5 damage. Combine this with some nice regen and you have an, almost, invinsible tank.

Protection Prayers: 13 + 1 + 3
Divine Favor: 8 + 3
Illusion Magin: 12

Register to unlock hidden link to lower the damage to 5.
Register to unlock hidden link provides health regeneration (large enough to counter the constant burning).

Register to unlock hidden link combines with Sympathetic Visage to lower the energy of the great destroyer (melee Destroyers attack you).
Register to unlock hidden link provides the slow (but stead) degeneration.
Register to unlock hidden link provides health regeneration.
Register to unlock hidden link
Register to unlock hidden link provides energy with Balthazar's Spirit.

The Guide

1. Press "H" and check the box next to your Delver (Dwarf Title Track) title - this will increase the damage done to The Great Destroyer.
2. Cast Blessed Aura and run along the path until you have full energy.
3. Cast Balthazar's Spirit and continue running - stop a couple of feet before the yellow haze.
Check for "Destroyer Of Deeds", if any are /resign and try again.
4. Cast Watchful Spirit and wait until you have 25 energy.
5. Cast Protective Spirit and Shield of Regeneration.
6. Target The Great Destroyer and run towards it (press Spacebar).
TIP: If you get low health on the way, cast Protective Spirit for the Divine Favor boost.
7. Maintain Protective Spirit and Shield of Regeneration.
8. Alternate between using Sympathetic Visage and Ancestor's Visage (always have one up).
9. Cast Illusion of Pain on The Great Destroyer every 5-8 seconds.
10. Consider who is the "Great Destroyer" now ;p

NB: You MUST maintain Protective Spirit and Shield of Regeneration AT ALL TIMES!

Me, and my friend, both agree that Hard Mode is easier due to the greater attack speed and therefore great amount of energy.

Conclusion

With a couple of practice runs you can easily earn a large amount of money by taking other players on the run. If you fail then keep trying!

Failing with others in the party may seem very embarassing but apologise, be friendly and continue trying - this should lessen the number of "rage quitters" / leavers.
