Mission Guide: Dunes of Despair : GW Submissions

Requirement: Sand of Souls Quest

1. Talk to the hero; he is close

2. Go to the south/west bridge, then the hero will follow you. By going west you shall go to The Temple of Ascension, and then go south over the bridge.

3. Go south/west and kill the Forgotten Boss and his minions, a cenematic should start.

4. Take out the archers, while advancing slowly (if you do not now, you will regret not taking them out sooner).

5. Go to the temple and the draw bridge should lower, if possible use the slow totem in the doorway to give some diffuculty to your enemies. Then, simply kill them one by one.

6. Defeat the enemy hero by swarming in and using all availiable means of killing.

7. Protect the hero while he preforms a ritual (takes 10 minutes). If you have the slow totem you will need to use it here as well.



*BONUS*

1. Upon finishing the primary mission (must happen while the claim to the throne is occuring, so you must split up the gang) go north then go east at your first chance, as well as going to the south/west. Kill all of the generals.

2. Your team should be prepared to face more foes, as each general gets killed reinforcements arrive.



IMORTANT NOTE: If this is your last Crystal Desert mission for you, teleport to the mesa to enter the rune circle. Once it's all lighted up, ignite the three near stones, then the mesa will open up, leaving you to fight a mirror person of yourself.

I don't understand this. Is this an exploit or something? To do the bonus on this is easy with necrotic traversal or the other teleport one. Then everyone uses a vamp weapon to die and are rebirthed over the other side to complete the bonus at their lesuire.

there is no requirement for this mission either...other than completing the Sanctum Cay mission to get to the desert...

and this information is widely available and not special at all...had there been a new exploit or something you wouldn't have gotten my
