If you identify white items before you sell them, if there good they will be worth usally around 10-20 gold more, when you sell them to the merchant. :D

/me looks around....is this a joke?

didn't even get the common knowledge right..

If you identify Blue, Purple, or Gold Items they will be worth more to the merchant...white items never require identification.

It's actually correct. If you identify white items the price shows up which sometimes is higher than it would be if sold unidentified.

Try it with common items that are the same.

TBH it's not worth the time and effort though.

oh ok...didn't know that...but yeah I agree...not worth the time or effort...the charges on my identification kits are worth more than 10-20 gold...(if they are used on a gold item instead)

sepiroth...I said I was wrong...I didn't know that identifying white items will get you more gold at the merchant sometimes...

and don't send people pm's telling them to give it a try...and especially don't send us pm's !@#$%^&* at us for "flaming" you in a submission. I honestly didn't know that worked and I assumed you posted incorrect information (yes I'm the !@#$%^&* for making the assumption)...which I was later proven wrong. Even because of that I didn't change anything in my post so I will look like the !@#$%^&* I was for posting what I did.

that still doesn't change the fact that identification kit charges are worth more than 10-20 gold when you use them on Blue, Purple, or Gold items (I rarely use them on Blue items anymore)....so this exploit is still pretty WORTHLESS

your chances of getting a yay from me just got sliced in half...
