Port Sledge : GW Submissions

Maybe already disscussed here or not but I thought I would share an observation I made. Out side of Port Sledge is a collector that will trade you an item that will sell to a merchant for 125 gold. If you sell the item that the collector is looking for to a merchant you only get 8 gold each. It takes 5 of theese items that are worth 8 gold ea to get 1 item that is worth 125 gold so I would purpose buying the item that the collector is looking for for around 15-20g each. For example if you could buy them for 20g ea for all 5 it would cost you 100g then you would trade this for an item that is worth 125g so you would make a profit of 25g. If you get them cheaper then the profits will be higher of cource. Let me know what you think.

I think you should add more detail like what type of items the collecter wants and what item sell for 125 each.

yeah with out of these 2 we dont have anyhing about it. But this sounds usefull. Also maybe get a small list of missions/places of where to get these items for the collector...

And do the sell for 125 on a merchant or by trading to people?

He takes intricate grawl necklaces, which the grawl just outside Port Sledge drop in abundance. It's no a bad place to farm but really isn't that profitable. I like to go there when I'm stockpiling crafting materials. The grawl to drop Shiverpeak keys now and then.

Oh, and the merchant gives 125g for the items you get from the collector.

The collector in Droknars does this as well but with stone summit badges i do this trick all the time. instead of selling 4 stone summit badges for 40 gold i trade them for a collector weapon and then sell it to the merch...
