Warrior Global Running Build! : GW Submissions

Use the following skillset and you can run to nearly every location on the map! The order can be changed to your liking, as this is just what works best for me. Please provide feedback, comments, questions, etc. so that this build can be perfected...

Sprint
Charge [ELITE]
Balanced Stance
Holy Veil
Healing Signet
Purge Conditions
Endure Pain



One of the following, depending on the area you plan to run:

Smite Hex
Disciplined Stance
Contemplation of Purity
Shields Up



I have not played around with the Factions Warrior skills, so if you can replace one of these skills with one of those, let me know.

You will definately need Absorbtion and Vigor runes. If you cannot afford Superiors, use a Minor or Major and after you build up some profit from running, upgrade! I use 15k Platemail, but 1.5k Platemail will do just as well. I also use boots from the Knight's armor for the damage reduction bonus it gives. I haven't looked to see if placing Knight's in other places makes a difference, though.

For those that cannot afford a perfect Eternal or Celestial Shield, there are equivalents that can be bought from collector's. Here are a few:

As for a weapon, I would suggest either finding someone that still has a HoD (click here to view what this is) or a regular +5 Energy weapon and modding it with a Shelter or Warding mod. This will give you some extra Energy and Armor protection to help you survive longer. You won't be attacking, at least you shouldn't be because the quicker you get it done, the quicker you can get the next run started (ie - more gold). You don't need a Sundering or Zealous or any other type of modded weapon for this reason - plus it'll save you a lot of money!

One last tip... make sure you and your "customers" understand and agree to the conditions of payment. A good idea is to have EVERYONE show you they have the gold before starting the run. Whether you want them to pay a portion at each new section, or a lump sum at the end, you need to protect yourself from the sea of scammers on GW. You can't possibly keep track of all of them, so it's best to just watch your own back.
