Who wants sickles?! : GW Submissions

Anotehr attempt at premium.
Ok this is the way taht i get sickles.Go to the mission- the Great Northern Wall. Get to the end fast- the place where the big army of charr rush u. Now all u gotta do is kill as much charr as u can b4 the time runs out. I use the iMonk build cuz im too lazy to think up of a new build thast more effective. Anyways today i did 5 runs and got 2 sickles both of which i sold for a total of 70k. Anyways try this and c if ur luck is as good as mine, u also get the added bonus of wathcing weak animals fallign at your feet after u cast a couple of spells and that really makes my day

sickle is without doubt the rarest weapon in the game altho serpents axe is close behind and more preffereable in looks (at least to me) a sickle with over 20 damage could prbably go for 200k. they are starting to sell mroe in LA becuz ppl have found out how unbelievably rare they are

updtae for today: HAH so my post isnt baloney! sure u could get 100k in farming b4 u got a sickle if u r a very incompetent player, but if u get a sickle with over 20 dmg it will add up to more than 100k... hope im getting closer to a premium.. if not ive still got a couple of tricks up my sleeve...

BTW: ive been hearing lately that its also possible to get sickles even faster in the d'alesio seaborad mission... not sure from which kinds of mosnters.. but jsut thought ud be interested. im gonna check this rumour out today

update.. again: i just went rune farming ettins and got a sickle as well as a tribal axe (also a very rare axe)... so im tihnking that the kryta area also drops sickles... as well as higher dmg ones than the ascalon region... any tohughts? Sickles sell like crazy one with over 20 dmg and 13>50 would be worth quite a bunch 500k at the very least. yes, u may never find a sickle, but u cna blame that on ur luck.

really, this is funny cause i use my Farming monk here all the time rushing noobies through the missions and I have never gotten anything usefull here. I think you need to post video of this

If so.... HA! Ya right. That would have been figured out by now, people have farmed that to hell and back to see if they'd get purple drops and whatnot, they never do.

Also, can someone confirm this sickle business, this is the first I've heard of it. As far as I knew there are only bows, swords, axes, and hammers (and wands). What does the sickle count as, a hammer? Also what damage does it do?

WOW!! - Pretty amazing on the sickle but I dont say it is rare - I myself have got several sickles in game and just run a salvage kit over them - most around 6-15 to 6-21 damage. If what they say on that eBay thread is true - I must have salvaged away about 800 plat in game - hehe

I will research this in game tonight and let you know what I find out

ya i have probably salvaged away sickles as well since i salvage just about everything white i get and then sell all the crafting materials in chunks in drok so i may be in the same boat with you grey if it is true.

You are right - rareness doesnt make a weapon in a video game - i agree - but if it sells for 100k++ - it does factor into the overall game.

I asked around wanting to buy a sickle in EVERY district of ascalon and Droks - I got ONLY 5 - YES 5 PM's wanting to sell a sickle.

Most around 6-15 to -17 damage - best was 6-20 with ice damage - EVERYONE WANTED 75-100k for the sickles.

I told one I would put him on list and because I was looking for at least 20+ damage and he said then dont buy a sickle if you want axe damage - thats not why people want them.

I would have to agree that they are rare and that is amazing becuase I have SLAVAGED several in the past and probably left numerous others on the ground.

But - as for PREMIUM - I still say NAY - because even if you get one you have to probably spend countless hours online trying to sell to someone for that 100k+ - thats if you ever can sell it.

So I say you can probably make 100k farming before you could sell the sickle and have a lot better time doing it.
