DRAKE FARMING : GW Guide Discussion

A easy and really good way to make cash is to kill drakes and sell their drops for about 5k a piece. They drop many purple and gold rare items. Places I fought and got drops were at Divinity and Sanctum. I fought the lightning drakes (18) and great drakes (20) it takes about 2-3 runs to get the goods, but it;s worth it.

P.S. u find drakes in water, (rivers) or by the shore.

so old news and so nerfed like 6 months ago but if you post screens and more information i would revisit these spots.

The drakes in Sanctum Cay drop a non max gold or purple weapon every 5 or 6 runs, in my experience. I have gotten some decent mods but nothing to write home about.

The only drakes I know that still give good drops are the ones in the fire isles. And they arent particularly easy to solo either lol

i have gotten some rare items in the sunctum cay mission. at the last part you will se alot of drakes and grand drakes..just get a henchies group and ruin to the beaches ull find tyhem there.

Again, you'll get random good drops anywhere. But to be eleigible to be called a good farming area they must drop regularly.

I got a black dye outside Ascalon but it's not a good farming area just a random good one.

Not to mention drakes are a pain in the bum to kill anyway. Why not just do griffins/Minotaurs/ hydra?

Drake farming has been nerfed badly or at least compared to about 5 months ago, I havent gotten a max golden drop for over 25 runs now.... *Gives up*
