Help my character sucks! : GW Guide Discussion

Ok I've been playing since the beginning. I got about halfway done with the original GW campaign and could get any farther because my character wouldn't allow it. I quit for a while and then picked it up again just before Factions came out. Now that I've played around with Factions I've gotten to level 20. That XP is nice. Anyway I'm a: Me/E 20. I have a lot of Fire attributes and Inspiration and my Fast Casting is high, but not very noticeable.

I was wondering if there is any possible way to make this combination good for PvP. All I want is a sigil to get a guildhall and I have to be able to make it through the Hall of Hero's to do so. So how do I do it? How do I make this template a good working PvP template? Please help me!

For a guild hall, if you can get to Lions Arch, have 200? gold for guild name (don't know if you _have_ to have a cape, which is 2000gold?) you can get on boat and tour the guild hall islands.

When you get there, there is a Sigil Trader on dock I bought a sigil for 20 plat a month before factions came out on rumor of special guild hall storage...

Do you only have one character?

You have 4 slots (maybe 6 now with factions) try some easier characters first. Mesmer is what I would class as an advanced character. Try a ranger or warrior first.

You've managed to get top lvl 20 so I assume you have picked things up. you should know what skills to use in what circumstance so away you go

Elementalists are very fun to play in PvE, and fire ones are pretty dominate once you get meteor shower. Anyway, like any new player, the game is difficult at first, you'll get the hang of it after awhile, try new characters. Mesmer is tough.

Yeah I've been trying to save up, but I don't sell very well or at least things I get don't sell well because I get a bunch of things I would use when I'm one of the few that am what I am therefore no one needs what I have to sell. Anyway what I'm saying is this is my alternative...to buy a sigil for a hall. But I'd like to be able to get my Role-Playing character to be able to PvP well too.

He/she's a mesmer not an elementalist, syris. And for pvp, have you ever tried the HoH build Flareway? I hear it is pretty darn good. I don't know the build, but if you head over to guildwars.gameamp.com you can find the build and guide there, just go to the build section
