Lev 8 Necro/Monk : GW Guide Discussion

Any ideas on beating the doppleganger.... I"m level 8 on my necro/monk.
His bow just Powns me... thinking that i'm going to need to actualy Quest for some spells and get some droks armor.. LOL.

Well your doppleganger has what you have, the same weapon, armor and skills.


Make sure the skills you take will force your doppleganger to use the most useless ones, like any that will lower his defence or use up his energy quick.

Skills like Blood of the master, etc which use up health to cast he will use even when its useless, and eventually will kill himself, do not have healing skills on your bar or anything that helps him, just the blood sacrifice ones and attack with your weapon. He will die or kill himself.

And why would he have a bow if your N/Mo? Unless you have one as a set weapon.

They all use bows at range for some reason. If you're worried get in close.

Yeah he has a bow, and in my newbie armor he hits me for 76 damage. a pop, being level 8 i can take about 2.5 hits. heheh

Never seen em use a bow yet on me, very strange.. Not really a doppleganger anymore

Doppleganger has Bow/Axe/ and whatever you bring in so staffs or wands as well. At distance he will most likely use his extremly accurate and long range bow. Up close and personal he will hit you with that axe. Sac spells are your bread and butter but at level 8 I would say you will have to be extrememly lucky or never get ascended till at least level 10. Necro/Monk lol level 8 even funnier.

Up to level 9 now. bout 1000 exp away from 10
Spent 30 mins in Elona reach Power leveling . heheh
I figure i can clock 18,000 exp an hour at level 9 there, it will drop to 15000 i think for level 10, but i'm uncertain right now.. it may go up

Simple 55hp nec/mo lol i beat it at lvl 6 like that but it only take you to lvl 16 so then you still got 4 lvls to go
