Wondering about a Mesmer : GW Guide Discussion

In guild I wanted to make my alternative character a mesmer. The problem is I dont know any tihng about a mesmer. What skills I should get. What second proffession to use. Can someone please help me out with becoming a mesmer. Thank

I switch my secondary back and forth from N to Mo depending what i am doing...

There are many variations of mesmers also my build is sort of an all around build... but my fav skills are

Crippling anguish
Conjure Phantasm
Backfire
Empathy
Power Spike
Power Leak
Shatter Enchant/Hex

Then of course mix in some energy stealers and you will be set to take on warriors but what you will do the most dmg to is spell casters...

If you combine Necro skills with mesmers you can cast 3 skills and have a -26 degen on foes so basically a monk is dead in about 11 secs if not quicker.. but try the above out to start with and you will find many more you enjoy..
