Salvage Kits : Guild Wars 2 Nerfed Info

At the moment salvage kits are worth 11c irrespective of the number of charges, so get it to 1 then sell it. Saves you money in the longterm!!

Should note this is basic ones, others sell for more or less depending which you have

Isnt this more of a trick?

The question is can you split the stack? Then sell 25 at 11c each?

Here's the math.

• Basic Salvage Kit w/25 charges = 88c
• Value Per Charge = 3.52c
• Use 24 charges (84.48c in value)
• Sell the Basic Salvage Kit w/1 charge (which should only be worth 3.52c) back to the vendor for 11c.

This is trivial... 7.48c in savings every time you need to burn through a Basic Salvage Kit... but may help a few folks when they're first starting out.

I would like to put in my two cents. I JUST tried this. It doesn't work. Kits are soulbound/account bound, hence cannot be sold to merchant for the claimed 7c resell value. Sorry but info is inaccurate.
