although HO has a weight limit, it can be surpassed
if your in a party and your weight is full but still got space in inventory, your party members can pick up items and if the item goes to you it will disregard the weight limit and go into your inventory.

Also, the weight limit can be surpassed when trading, as long as the person your trading with have space in their inventory they can hold the items disregarding the weight. It's pretty usefull to have a second character to hold HP and CHI potions for you with this trick.
