hackshield plz help!!!!! : KO Discussion

Hi ...im having a problem with hackshield for KE when i start KE it updtes fine then i ckick start....then hackshield pops up an then says "can not connect to update server"......any one have any ideas ???.....i have reinstalled gam several times now....ty Fisben

Most of the time you dont have Direct X if that is happening...

how is your connection, it does that to me somtimes when running on my wirless lan connection.

You might also disable any firewall that you have running. Sometimes settings will become hosed and block previously approved links.

Also go into your game folder and manually update hackshield, worked for me.
