My current signature; which hopefully will show. Please acknowledge that it has been ages since I've created anythign decent, if you can call it that. And after a long while of dormancy, I wish to exhibit my horrible creation Please do critizise or comment as you like, I know it's not nearing the best -- but I'm against using other's brushes, as well as whoring the pixel stretch, and the myraid trendwhore extras as well -- so this is default's and filters really o.o . . .

Its good, only the line pattern... I think it looks nicer if you put starts in place with a glow

nice, I didnt really like the lines either. I thought that the bevel was to big. a 2 px woulda been fine. I didnt really like how much was going on in it. It doesnt really look tooooo filter whored but there were a lot of filters used on the obviously.

I don't understand what you are refering to as "Bevel" ; I'm sorry if I'm a bit nitpicky over the lingo ; only that i've been in the field for years; and all the new folk (at no means am I being condescending) ; are arbitrarily inserting termanology (sp) ; and I sometimes might not follow; lol. I haven't applied intentionally any beveled effect, unless you are directing that towards the solid drop shadow? o.o; then again, i tend to misinterpret -- sorry.


Oh, and thank you all; especially "stpain"; I believe I somewhat understand; there are 4 or 5 singatures of the like I created actually. On another board, most people leaned towards this style, though if i can find the others, I'd apreciate your insightful comments; it's all helpful ^_^. Thanky you.

I know that sir, lol; I'm confused as to where you see this supposed "bevel and emboss"; I did not apply such an effect, nor do I tend to lean towards such gaudy fixes >.<; I'm partial towards the simplisitc -- possibly my mistake lol. Again, I really apreciate everyones comments o.o!

Well, at the top it is much lighter, then over the side it makes a sudden darker border. (Note that it goes into the darker section in a slanted way not just a rectangular) That may not be a bevel and emboss however it looks much like one to me.

(it is now the david bowie one because a mod made me change me other one with the devilish looking guy)

thats really hurtful to the eyes... its too umm blurrry and pixelly. It would have been much better if the guy was more clear and the text standed out better. Plus, its look like some has jsut started to learn how to create backgrounds. 4/10
