Im gonna go out on a limb here and request SOMETHING from admins. I personally dont care, i write my own scripts and programs, and it seems that if i do this, they dont become so friggin bannable as a mass distributed script, but there are people signing up for THIS SPECIFIC PROGRAM, and it has been almost a month now.

Now im not an B1tch, and i realise from a programming standpoint that there are always bugs to be fixed, but stringing people along for a month based on an "Unpretty GUI"? Come on, release a beta, or at least some screenshots so people KNOW that this isnt a lure for memberships.

I personally miss the days back when xunleashed was a community for scripters and programmers alike would team up, but it seems as of late that there are more leechers than scripters, and people are just waiting for this program, WHICH IS NOT A BAD THING. They paid their money for access to these programs, and if you go through the WoW downloads sextion, about98% of everything in there is useless. I think maybe 1 fishing script works SOMETIMES. I realise that the warden throws a kink into things, but sony's process hiding isnt the first "OMFG!!!11!!1!!oneone, WE CAN HIDE TEH PROCESSES!!11!!!1!!!11". theres other ways to go about doing it....

Anyways now im rambling.....This chikkie dont care if the proggy ever gets released, but there are people paying legitimate money for a now "Advertised" program, and have yet to see anything on it, other than one admins best guess.

If problem is coding, then release a beta so that some of the incredibly talented coders in this community can lend a hand, that after all, is what this site used to be about.....

If its safe at release its safe now.....
Tault_admin wrote:This is our status situation as i give them out constantly. The program is done and at 80% for the gui. Had to redo some fine tunning for the gui. AKA we release it right now and it doesnt have buttons and just coding people will freak out how they cant understand it. So we are getting it pretty. Still gonna go for later tonight if not then it will have to wait for a next week release.

If all that is needed is a "Prettier" GUI then release a beta.....

According to the above post "The program is done and at 80% for the GUI"

If its gonna be undetectable, then it should be already if the program is done. I say release a beta and to anyone smart enough to use it, they should be able to help with the gui.....this is a community based on scripting support.

AS for the new xunleashed. We have our programmers working with a contracted outside source as well. They originally told us they where going to have it done awhile ago. Since people like to be updated I updated them. The date it was suppose to take no longer to be done was on nov 8th. So now they are even past our date.

I know its taking far longer than it should. We should have had it earlier. I made this thread so when people have questions about it they can be answered. People try to keep this to answering questions and not gripping. We want it out, you want it out, and we are trying our best to get it out. As well we are informing people with all the information we know.

Its a double edged sword. If we give dates we are told and something happens people complaing we didnt follow through. However when we dont say dates people complain that they want a date. The best answer is please be patient as we are trying our best to get this out to the community as fast as we can.

here's a question that's being repeated: "if it works, and only the gui needs tweaking, why not release a beta?"

not really gripping there and i believe it's a legit question that hasn't really been explained.

Will the new xunleashed 4 plugin interface support alpha blending?
Will the old plugins still work? If not what kind won't work anymore?
Will the old services still work? If not what kind won't work anymore?
Will the old scripts still work? If not what kind won't work anymore?

A better question would be, "why release a beta?"

An incomplete product could put people at risk, even though the GUI is the only thing left to do, there still may be other kinks that need to be worked out.

Working on a GUI can be a real .... pain -- I've worked with window toolkits in java, and compared to Visual Basic -- it is SO time consuming.
