Whats wrong with the forums? : Legacy General Discussion

Noticed for some reason all the games forums are showing up as listed options when I choose the EQ2 forums. I don't want to see that other crap, that is why I go into a dedicated forum for the game I play. How do I get rid of all that extra crap?

Also after posting a new topic the only link above your post is to go back to the sub-topic that you just posted to. Would be nice to have the ability to go back to the MAIN EQ2 area that lists all the sub-topics from within any of the sub-topics. UNLESS this ability is already there and is a setting in which case could someone help me set that up.

they changed it to make it easier for people to look through. you choose your section then scroll down to see your forum is opened up between all the others then you choose the sub forum. the see latest topics since your last visit is broken because if i go back too soon it says i need to wait longer to do another search

I guess it is handy for people who play multiple games but it sure is anoying as hell if you only play one game (IMO). I thought it was pretty simple, go to your games fourms and the ones with new posts have a orange marker on the little icon. /shrug

Not sure why someone playing EQ2 would care if EVE Online has a new topic..

A step backwards (like the removing of a download area) IMO...

ok another thing wrong. in the forums the quote thing isnt working so you cant quote other people. shows quote tags but no quote box

well time to test again on the search timer for viewing the lasts posts since my last visit because i hit that, go into a topic, see sometimes nothing worthwhile added so back out and get that message so have to wait 5 or so seconds (huge delay for a person like me who lives on here) for the timer to go away. and since it may happen 5 times in a row seems VERY slow

Hmm maybe it was older posts or maybe posts while we where upgradding the database.
