Gastra or Str long bow? : Lineage 2 General Discussions

Ok I jsut hit lvl 20 elf scout, I've got an str long bow but the d grade soulshots are !@#$%^&* expensive, now Im thinkin about sellin my str long bow to someone for 1.5mil, and I got an offer for a +3 gastra for my bow, but I wanted more and he wouldnt do it, Im thinkin the +3 is good for lvl 20 but in the long run it would be hard to sell cause if ur gonna buy +3 gastra, why not get a str long bow, any ideas?

meh nm got 400k + a gastra for it, rather just lvl with a gastra and get free scrolls while having money for soulshots lol

That's how to do it man. In CH1 it will change, but if you lvl up quick by that time you should have enough for C-Grade equipment.

i stoped playing L2 because i got riped off all my gear and 1.3million adena :'(

how did you get ripped off? some guy said he could dupe your items and you gave ur stuff to him?^_^

yeah dude i spent 200k on soulshots lastnight lol, gonna go broke, but 2-3 shotting yellows for 818 xp is the win! and 220 adena per hit, for dark stocking patterns at 850 addena.. whewtwttwewtwewtwet

Well the thing about using SS's is don't expect to make a lot of money...you'll pretty much break even. SS's are used for POWER leveling more than farming. If you have enough money for best equipment at your range of level, then you're fine. I'm power leveling right now when I have time to play...

If you want to make more money, I suggest making a side character and do all the quests over and over, or "bot it" per say while you are afk...

ya, i ONLY use soulshots when dualing (or pking )...it takes so much money away.

when i was very newb in l2, i use to buy tons and TONS of soulshots, and then eventaully i disocoreved with all the money i spend on soul shots i would have gotten equipiments 10x better.

str long bow is not worth it. If you can find one get a light crossbow (around 2mil), however you cant buy from a store, this is a craft only item, and have yet to see one on the server im on.

I stuck with my gastra, and added a +1 to it, still looking for 2 more weapon enchant scrolls on lionna if anyone will sell me two.

With the str long bow, your looking at
7mp per shot, and it consumes 7 ss. Costs more in the long run. My friend had that bow and had alot of downtime because of MP consumption. He got a gastra and is now happy..
