Guide To The Perfect Pvp Class : Lineage 2 General Discussions

If you are here to play Lineage 2 and be a good pvper or the best pvper here is a guide to the strenths of each class and there status as pvp charators. First off this data is through my experiences with Lineage 2 and is not set in stone and has just the opinion of what I think about the classes and what i have seen in game.
First Off Rating The Classes By My Opinion In Pvp Starts With
Dark Elf, Elf, Human, Orc, Dwarf

Dark Elf: Seems to be number one class for pvp because of there superior strength at the beginning and later on using Bows/2 Handed Swords/Dagger's

Elf: I believe they are superior to the next 3 classes because of there Bowman ship they take charge in pvp when it comes to a Bow using Elf because of there natural speed with arrows and there buff's they get with the bows.

Human: Human and Orc cut even by my point of view. Humans can be quite deadly in pvp when a Mage but also quite strong in terms of taking Damage when using a 1 Handed Sword and Shield Humans are well balanced in terms off all there weapons and skills.

Orc: Orcs are tied with Humans in my opinion in pvp both achieving third Place. When a Orc you can take serious damage and also deliver quite a blow with your Claws and even greater up front attack with the Orc's unbalanced melee attacks.

Dwarf: Last but not least the Dwarf's sorry to say but these fine pinets are just lacking some thing in terms of offence and defensive power in lineage 2 later on in the game. Don�t get me wrong here but there main goal in lineage 2 is to make players rich in other words crafting. They come in handy in battle though because of there defense but they lack in Spells and Melee.

ughhh... No.... I have a lvl 48 Phantom Ranger And lvl 50 Silver Ranger on Korean Servers and yes that chart is what I saw and who was on top.

but i disagree maybe its because i play a human and i dont like DE at all
but i would put humans in their on place and not compare them with orcs :yuck: orc has strength and uuh umm and well nm
humans own and i suppose DE are cool too

c'mon lads as an orc you are the strongest and have the most defence, and the most health bows are for newbies one hit off an orc and a dark elf will be frantically drinking a hundred potions!!!

O_o o_O... The number 1 pvp class in a 1 on 1 duel is... Silver Ranger. Just for the fact that they can Kite the other classes around AND get a self heal spell (which can prove to be the upper hand against the DE bow user) However in a siege type environment I see the Orc Tyrant as being one of the heavier hitters. They can handle themselves in a 1 on 1 fight but the fact that they get some seriously heavy hitting ranged and Area of Affect skills makes them designed to rip up a siege. Come siege time you'll see me dropping a whole lotta pain on a whole lotta people.

human warlord...not only do they get area effect attacks with spears but they also have a skill where u can fully heal when ur at 1/10 full hp. Holy crap thats like double the health in a 1v1 combat. =) Not to mention, they are as good as orcs in sieges since they get stun and whirlwind with spears.

bah the gladiator will be much better in PvP than a warlord it has high hp uber high attack and more skills than a warlord like twice the skills and can use 2 swords effectivly since they have skills for them which means double damage

compared to gladiator a warlord is nothing

Many many classes made the gladiator their !@#$%^&*... Human Knights, Elves, Mages, DEs. They R Teh Sux

my reply to u is that warlord is for crowd control not 1v1. Gladiator by far is the best 1v1 there is no disputing that. But I am curious to see a gladiator in a siege. I still believe that warlord with a good healer will reign supreme in a siege b/c of there multi-target atttacks.

heres how its going to go the gladiator will have lets say 2-3 enemys attacking him he will stomp the first with all mana stomp the second with the rest of the mana then 1v1 the last that simple ignore the movie on the lineage2 website that was staged the warlord appears good for looks
note:this is with a healer aswell
either way id rather rely on thier brute strength and high hp then on an attack that splits up damage
then again this is just my opinion and suits my play style

Just a not on DE...

They are by far the most played race, and I think it's the same on the korean servers...

So maybe you ranked them as top because there are so many of them, and there is bound to be a few good ones there Just some random rambling hehe

Anyways, I still think NCSoft did a pretty good job with classes... Let's see the results of the last 2 pvp tournament videos I saw that took place on the Korean servers... So we are talking lvl 60+ toons with fubar equip heh.

In both of these videos there was dwarfs in the tournament, that leads me to think that even dwarfs are not utterly bad at pvp, even 1on1 pvp

The last one was won by a Shillen Elder... yes a healer/rooter that the vast majority of players would consider as a crippled child in 1on1 pvp... Still, he won the tournament.

The one before that was won by a Plains Walker, which most people refer as the worse assassin type...

Sure, it all depends on who they fought before the final and so on.... but the point is that each class has it's str and weakness. To be successful you need to know yours and the ones of the class you are facing and use that knowledge to your advantage...

IMO, in pvp, there is absolutely no better class, as long as you know how to play yours and got good equipment (equip being probably the most important thing lol).

majito it doesn't split up damage at all. Does normal amount to all targets. Also warlords can get faster attack speed, prolly negating the fact that spears are kinda slow. So basically...ur screwed lol =) j/m with ya...We'll have to wait and see in a siege how the classes do. People have predictions but not all of em will come true =) just thinking mine will.

Any archer or ranged class with a cripple, freeze, root etc etc can beat the crap out of a gladiator without even taking a hit. As funny as it sounds... Orc Tyrants can Kite and beat the crap out of Gladiators too (cripple skill, and force blaster). Not to mention a gladiator has to charge up most of it's skills before it can use them, which isn't a bad thing, but if you use the skill miss you have to recharge etc etc. Also Gladiators have to switch their weapon in order to use a stun attack. Tyrants don't. Neither do Knights (Knight, Paladin, DA). Silver Rangers can just moving shot all around until the gladiator falls down, Orc Mages can sleep, chill flame then slap them once for a quick end. (Chill Flame, and all those spells... HURT LIKE A MOTHER) I've seen PVP Tourneys and watched first hand. While Gladiators look cool with their 2 swords and flashy skills, they are really not all that great.

bleh, who said SR will rule because they can kite clases? meet the orc monks ranged attack, pwah ownd SR on the ground. sure i move slow as hell but when i hit you, i make it count. theres also stun fist, and puma spirit which will make me faster than you pwhahhzz
