Question on using grade weapon & armor enchansments : Lineage 2 General Discussions

Does anybody know how many time its possible to use the Enc. scrolls on weapon and armor?
Actually, J.Doe has all +3 gr.D armour and weapon, but they sell also +4, +5 Weapon of the same grade.
So, can be these Encs. be applied to and what possible troubles can appear?
There were rumours on some forums, that in case of fault (for ex., appliying Weapon Enc. to +3 Weapon) it may lead to weapon or armour d e s t r u c t i o n. But on the oter hand, another rumors tell that scrools just "fail to enchanse" or so.

ok.. here is the deal

Enhances 1 - 3 no chance to destroy
Enhance 4 10% chance to destroy
Enhances 5 and up 0 chance to destroy.. this is due to a bug in the system they have in place. This is going to be fixed in C1. I have seen a Gastra with +15 and other items like that.

IF YOU HAVE C GRADE USE IT QUICK LOL

can anyone confirm that once you successfully get +5 on a c grade weapon/armour you can keep going further without risk of crystallisation?

luckily i tested it on something cheap...

Got a regular d-grade helmet to +7, it crystallised on the attempt at +8
