Server transfers after retail? : Lineage 2 General Discussions

Will we be able to transfer our OB charecters to other servers after retail starts?

I don't want to be competing with some of you guys and your millions when retail starts :P

I know they are not doing a whipe as for moving to a diff server than you are already on that im not sure of yet. I would assume no because of storage but im not sure.

they said that after the chron1 update, you will be able to move ur character between servers
but i think it might be limited to one move per character and/or account.

i hope they do let you move as i think it would make the game more interesting and allow you to mix with all the different people etc. On the official website there was a post somewere with lots of people asking them not to use this feature saying things like it would upset the economy and things which i think is total rubbish.

Character Transfers

It is STRONGLY possible this service will be offered either at the close of Open Beta or shortly after retail. Details are not finalized, so don't contact our support team asking how you can transfer characters. If it is implemented, most likely it will be for a small price, however we might offer 1 free transfer to Open Beta participants for putting up with us through the betat period. But also consider this is not a worry-free solution. If your character's name is already taken on another server, we will not be able to transfer your character to that server.


Hope that help clear up this question / issue.
