Using C grade weapons pre 40....? any penalites? : Lineage 2 General Discussions

I am on Kain server. I see alot of peole who claim they arent level 40, running around with C grade weapons, more specifically, dual sword types like CrimsonxCrimson, RevolutionxRevolution, and ElvenXElven to name a few.

Now I know from expereince that using higher grade ARMORS make your character move in Slow motion IE akin to be Targered Insects in EQ=P

Anyhow, these people in game will not give me the info. Does anyone know if one can use C grade weapons pre 40 with ANY negative effects?

C Grades are from lvl 30-39 man.

B Grades are from 40-49

A Grades are from 50-59

S Grades are from 60 - above...

You come off beligerent so you excuse me if I am a bit peeved. If they have changed skill sets let us know where to look for them.

We are here to gather facts and any info to help us get ahead in these games, not to belittle each other.

Yes, there are penalties to using weapons that you are not proficient with. Your accuracy plummets. You do hit for a truck load, but its not worth it in the long run, because you miss so much.

If I came off harsh, I apologize. Don't ever take me seriously...that's rule #1 unless I make it noticeable.

First off, that's usually common sense if you cannot use a D grade weapon efficiently before lvl 20...you'd think the same would be with Grade C.

According to Warcry also, it's level 40 for C grade equipment.

You can literally equip anything at any level I believe (at least that's what I tried wearing C grade on my level 1 mule). But for weapon, I think it's -75 to - 90% Accuracy penalty, while armor may not work as well (?), not so sure.

So yes you can wear anything at any level; but there will be penalties for wearing type of equipments that you have yet "mastered".

It is useless to compare fan website details as many of them use the L2DP database, meaning they all share the same mistake. L2Orphus and Warcry are two examples.

I believe Grade C is level 30 and above.

Its lvl 40 and above!

and there is no a-s grade masterys.

look it makes sense you hit 20 you get D grade then 30 C grade then 40 B grade 50 A grade 60-70 S grade

makes perfect sense to me i dont need a website to tell me

You get C grade mastery at level 40, no sooner...

errmmm... dbzugg, there ARE a-s masteries, just not in YET, but did you tink they would make us use those weapons with penalties?

c grade at 40 that really sux way too long to wait for better stuff ehh oh well

OK Guys is lvl 40 for C-grade and you will do fine with a nice d-grade until you hit lvl 40. I'm a 31 Wizard and I have no C abilities. Just the FACTS
