Domain Name Server = DNS
Also a Denial of Service attack is also called DNS

Thank you i work for an ISP in there NOC (Network Operation Center) and deal with this on a regular basis i dont believe i need networking 101 as i am a Network Engineer

Actually thats a DoS There is something also called a Distributed Denial of Service attack which is a DDoS sir please get your facts straight befre making cocky statements about "DNS". If you don't mind me asking what is your ISP's name, I would like to do some research on it's history.
