Obtaining loot exploit/guide : Lineage 2 Submissions

This will only work occasionally, but it can be quite nice when it does.

First, buy a scroll of resurrection. find a red (chaotic) person. Either kill him, or wait until he is killed. Stand by his body, type /target <playername>. Now, invite him to join your party (this is the most variable part of the process). If he does, use your scroll of resurrection to revive him.

Kill him again and hope he drops something good.

Now, I'm not positive about this, but I think they don't lose their karma unless they actually respawn themselves. I've done this a couple times, and the person has always been bright red even after being resurrected (but they may have had a ton of karma or something).

all the reds i've seen wouldnt fall for this unless they are a newbie, and then they have worthless items for equip anyway. most of the reds I see are mages and have nothing on them when they die, they play naked. Ive seen players hand their stuff over to their friend, then go attack others...last good red item drop I got was a friend getting to low life and then getting a well known purple player to hit him , kill him and go red - then he was killed. Thats about it.

So don't get that bug.
