Quest Exploit. Using serverside lag to your advantage. : Lineage 2 Submissions

By using server lag <check by dropping an item on the ground or loading a SS to your weapon>..
When you notice there is alot of server lag you can use this an exploit it.
Heres how its done.
For example you complete a quests objective that gives you adena. When the server is lagged itll take several moments before the NPC registers you as clicking on it. During this time click multiple times on the NPC. When the lag settles the server will register you as completing the quest multiple times instead of once.
Imagine the Grim Collector Quest with the 50k+ reward. Multiply that by the times u are able to click on the NPC before the server registers.
There u have it... Quest Exploiting.

The best time to try this exploit is when the servers are almost full. Attempting this before a reboot is always good as well from what i have gathered.

Actually.. Yes they did take the grim quest out of the game to fix it. Not sure if they have put it back in yet. But I run shroom quest out of the Elven and DE Villages sometimes. Its an easy 2k to own a couple shrooms. Well I knew about the grim exploit and last night the servers were lagged. I click the button to complete quest and nothing happend so I started clicking like crazy. And there you have it 10k from a 2k quest.

i can confirm what hybrid is saying i made 20k off of the DE spore quest due to server side lag

heh i find it funny they took out the grim reaper quest or whatever becuase of the dupe, but yet not other quests where u can still make money. its obvious they know thw trick.

Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I really haven't encountered a time yet where the servers have been lagged enough for this to work.
