LOTRO Cheats - Skip boss 3 in SG : LOTRO - Exploits

Ok this has just been done and found by my self.

You can open the boss room door to the 4th boss without even killing the third boss. This is very good for a group who are having issues with the this boss. This will also let the group complete hard mode so they can all get more medallion.

Make sure you have a burglar in your group.

• Start fighting the third boss in SG.
  In the 3rd stage of the fight(Blue ghosts - Do not kill any of them) all die.
  Burg use hips a the gate.
  The gate will open and boss will reset and the door to the 4th Hard more boss will open

The boss room is now open you do not even have to kill the third boss!

This is 100% working as i have tested this 3 times and it worked 3 times!

I've seen this work. Also, after that first reset you can kill the 3rd boss easy mode and the 4th boss door stays open. Though I've only done it once (we wiped) so I can't say that it always stays open after the first boss reset.

Yes that's correct yo can still do hard mode while still doing easy mode.

Just aoe all the blue fell spirits and you will still keep hard mode.

I hear if you do last boss you lose hardmode and symbol doesnt drop from Goruthul

Ive seen the symbol drop from boss 3 in both HM and EM. I have NEVER seen it from boss 4 (HM)

Symbol only drops from Goruthul(Boss 3).

Boss 4 gives you some very nice items including +25 Radiance heavy armour gloves, Glass flask pocket item.

The symbol has a 1 in 6 chance to drop

But you wont get credit for HM quest, right? 2k DP, 3 medallions, IXP....

Correct you wont get HM credit this way but this is a great way to gear people up that dont want to go fishing for the symbol.
