Noob question with Lotroextreme : LOTROExtreme

Hi all,

I'm new with lotroextreme and Xunleashed.

By chance, I had no problems/error when launching lotroextreme and I receive finally a white window with the four scripts loaded (four tabs). That seems to be OK.

On the XUnleashed client, I saw that normally I have to move the cursor on the bottom of the screen to see the scripts when IG. But nothing happens.

Really sorry, because I feel that my question is stupid: but how to launch the radar when in lotro?

make sure names are displayed in game when running. n will toggle names.

I always use the names, so I'm quite sure

rhodan007, at the top of that window with the 4 tabs, click on Debug->Run with debugging.

NI i'm noob too

i install and run the script

when i type the name of the monster in the texte bar on the top i can ear a "ding" and all name become red

bud i din't start huntin

i look in FAQ but i still not get know how to make it work

i can't find it

i find VGExtreme forums but i din't find mini-tutorial

just : You select the monsters you want to hunt, then pick the items you want, and fill in other variables. Then click run. (LOTRO)VGExtreme will wander around for you and when it finds those things in your area it will kill them.

lotro doesnt have any simple hunting scripts yet. You will need to take one from the vge forums and convert it to lotro.

It does now lol. But I warn you, it's very very simple.

Antareus, would you mind posting your script? I'd love to try it out! Simple is better for me anyway lol

Look at my post under the Bot section "Pixel bot here I(you) come.
Just take what I said there and make a script out of it in LOTROExtreme here.

It's all there/here except for (as far as I know) a way to directly target. So use the spinning + '`' method I described.

For melee you could figure out loot too. Like shift-right click around you. Or you can run to the mob to loot it too using the keyboard (turn to face the mob you killed and run to it).
Figure it out, and make your own. You will thank your self later.

At first I tried to do like something you mentioned. However making an autoit bot use some of lotro extremes functions just seemed like such a hassle for me (especially since I dont code a lot in autoit.. I hate having to use pixel points ).

The other things you mentioned are pretty much in the lotro client or will be. Atm there is a way for the bot to see all the mobs around you and such, but because a lot has changed from the vanguard extreme to the lotro extreme I still need to check with wyv on how to code some of this stuff. I especially need to figure out how to get the bot to target some predefined mobs instead of just the nearest one.

All in all, I'm going to try to convert the 2.4 Paladin vanguard bot into an all around lotro bot. It seemed very succesful and nearly flawless in vanguard so I hope it'll be the same for lotro. But for now I'm going to wait for wyv to upload a few more commands/functions to lotro extreme.
