Best or Worst Game Ever : MineCraft

What does everyone think? Personally this game im just not a fan of. Im the type of person that wants a purpose in my game. This game has none which i think is why i cant keep playing it. What do you think?

i think it is fun in single player at first but yea i do agree that it does get boring when there is no purpose so i went on to play on servers which makes it more interesting. There still isnt a specific purpose to it but there is more then on single player they are also coming out with a new update very soon that will give it purpose and A LOT more features.

Are the servers always on? IE can zombies kill my stuff if im not logged in?

yes servers are always on but if you join a good one like mine there are ways to protect your items while you are off like on my server you can residence you buildings to protect them from others destroying them and monsters spawning you can even lock you chest/doors so that only you can access them if you are interested in checking out my server send me a PM with your acct name and ill send u the server info and give u build rights on it.

EDIT right now though our server is kinda low on population because of previous server problems however we moved to a new server and we now have 100% up time and are actively looking for new members.

It really depends, there some texture packages out there that gives you an object to do, but the packages are like figuring stuff out. its really fun with friends. that my perpesective of it.

Yea but im not a fan of modding i guess its just not my thing. I think they need to add in some extra features to make it challenging. However thats just my personal opinion which doesnt mean much ha.

Some of the user-made adventure maps are pretty fun. Mostly its about building stuff I think, which it okay. It's kinda fun in SMP to build and share creations, but I do kinda wish there was more too it.

i like the game and its really fun playing custom maps

This game used to be awesome, but then Terraria came along and kind of ruined it for Minecraft. Minecraft has many more mods than Terraria, but Terraria just more mobs, more things to do, and more weapons. Minecraft does have larger worlds though I'll give it that. I'm not trolling on Mincraft by the way.

ya it's a great game but gets boring!

Honestly, the normal minecraft sucks. However, I just recently installed a mod called tekkit with my friends, and it makes the gameplay like 1000x times better.
