How to do UberDiablo in single player/LAN and more : Diablo 2 - Discussions

The Install is a tad tricky however is do able;

#1 Download the Zip Version (feel free to try the .exe, but I had issues with it).

#2 Copy the folder "Plugy" into your Diablo 2 folder.

#3 Copy the contents of the plugy folder directly into your diablo 2 folder (yes you will have duplicate copies of all the files, but that is the best way to ensure traceability for deletion later on without having to uninstall/reinstall diablo 2 +patches)

#4 Run the .exe "PatchD2gfxDll" and start Diablo 2.

Note: this can interfere with certain map hacks and hero editors, however act reveals still work and despite opinions contrary I have never had anything in my storage deleted due to it being on another page of the storage when using a hero editor.

Note 2: while v9.00 has been released I have not been able to get it working on the current version of D2, strangely enough v8.00 works just fine. (just turn it off before logging into battlenet by closing D2, clicking "RestoreD2gfxDll" and relaunching D2)

Last Note: The AI's for the Pandemonium Event Bosses are broken, but will still fight.

And now for why it makes D2 that much better an experence...

- Infinite storage space in the stash (up to 4,294,967,296 personal pages!)
- Shared storage space in the stash (up to 4,294,967,296 shared pages too!)
- Enabled the ladder only runewords out of realms.
- Local World Event and Uber Quest for singleplayer and multiplayer off-realm!
- Unassign assigned skills and stats points.
- Change the selected language.
- Always regenerate maps in SinglePlayer like in MultiPlayer.
- Automatically execute /players X when you launch a new game.
- Added some pages for display more characters stats like %MF.
- Display item level in its popup.
- Launch any number of Diablo II games on the same computer.
- Increase the stash to 10x10 squares.
- Change the save path directory.
- Change the version text print in the main menu.
- Always display Mana and Life values above the globes.
- D2 can load all files, even those opened with Microsoft Excel.
- Display the stats current value (without magical bonus).
- Localized in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish.

All this is, is a modified patch file.

I'll say nay due to the fact that this and more modifications like this have already been posted a million and one times.
