Wrong accounts being logged into : TESO Discussions

No wonder the patch is taking freaking forever.

Never in a mmorpg have I seen the like. People were logging in and finding a strange character with a different name, items, etc.

What is more crazy, one guy said when he logged back in, he was his normal character, but still had the items from the other character? WTF?

There was something similar tho not exactly that a while back with WoW/D3

Took 'em 12+ hours to fix it too..

Better than Shadowbane. characters randomly got "lost". You would lose your char and all items associated with it and it was caused by logging out and being killed before your character DCed. The devs answer was to reroll a new character. It took them 2 weeks to fix it.
